This whole exercise is in the “hanging out with your characters” category. We'll read a brilliant scene that shows the main character feeling true friendship and compatibility for another person in her body.

A great opportunity to be guided and supported to bring to life that gorgeous, sustaining thing: Friendship.

We'll start our two-hour class by discussing a short passage from Peter Heller's wonderful book THE ORCHARD. (PLEASE read this ahead of time; it'll be attached to an e-mail you'll receive after you pay and register.) Then I'll walk you through a series of guided prompts so you can just write your heart out. The last part of class will see you sharing what you've written, in all its rough glory.

Thurs., April 25 on Zoom, 12:30-2:30 p.m. MOUNTAIN TIME.

That's 2:30-4:30 p.m. EASTERN

1:30-3:30 CENTRAL

and 11:30-1:30 p.m. PACIFIC.

Payment is $7, and it's nonrefundable.

AGAIN, PLEASE READ the reading contained in the e-mail you'll get after you sign up, so we don't have to spend precious class time reading!

You'll receive the Zoom link between 10 and 60 minutes before class starts on the 25th. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR JUNK FOLDER, AS IT MIGHT END UP THERE.

Writers of all levels are welcome ~ I hope to see you then!
